Our Story
Wallace Travel Group, is a leading Travel Management Company and DMC in Ireland with over 50 years’ experience in developing leisure and incentive travel concepts for corporations and specialist operators in Ireland and all over the world.
Our company was founded by Des Wallace in 1970 in Westmorland Street, Dublin and moved to Finglas in 1982. There followed many years of exciting growth overseen by Derek Wallace, his wife Colette and a dedicated team of travel professionals.
Our goal is simply to be the best, most creative and committed DMC in Ireland to the MICE and specialist tour operator sector. Our success is based on understanding your challenges, listening carefully to your needs, and then drawing on our wealth of experiences to bring you imaginative & cost effective solutions.
During the COVID 19 pandemic, Derek retired and Mike O’Shaughnessy took over the reigns as Managing Director, in what has been the most challenging times for our industry. The team has moved to a combination of home and office working from our new state of the art offices in Santry, close to Dublin Airport.
Our dedicated specialist team bring energy, dynamic creativity and great personal commitment to the design and delivery of exceptional Ireland and World Wide Travel Experiences.
